Early Monday morning, police were called to the 3000 block of Beaver Dam Road, near Lewes, for a report of a dark-colored pick-up, who a witness said fired several rounds of paintballs which damaged his residence.

The man told police the pick-up drove by twice, first firing approximately 13-15 rounds, and then drove past a second time, firing additional rounds and speeding off when the man yelled in their direction.

The owner of the home told police that, while this is the first time it has been reported to police, it is an ongoing problem in the area. Police are seeking leads, and ask anyone with information to call Troop 5 at 337-1090, or Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
