Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation (QRCF) golf tournament. Will take place at Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club, in Dagsboro. Cost is $700 per foursome; proceeds will benefit the Lower Sussex Boy Scouts of America, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and the QRCF. Only 33 foursomes are available. American Assoc. of Univ. Women notable books group. Will take place at 10 a.m., at the Lewes Public Library, for a discussion of Ian McEwan’s “On Chesil Beach,“ a story of miscommunication and apprehension imperiling a young couple’s marriage in the early 1960s. Girl Scouts Teddy Bear and Me garden party. Will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Seaford Library. Camping Center ‘Camping on Delmarva.‘ Will take place at Delaware Camping Center’s dealership, on U.S. 113 in Georgetown, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Talk with representatives from Cedar Creek Landing campground, Delaware State Parks, Just Tow and Go RV Rental, Southern Del. Del. Safety Council/Coastal Magic All Stare Cheerleading basic defensive driver’s course. Will take place at 7544 Marshal St., in Lincoln.
