Sussex County Pomona Grange No. 3 presented the Grange Public Service Award to Butch Elzey at the annual picnic at the Soroptimist Park in Seaford on June 13. The Grange annually presents this award to a deserving person who has demonstrated outstanding community service.

Elzey has been taking barbeque dinners to the wounded veterans at Walter Reed Hospital for five years. He has made the trip every Father’s Day to thank the veterans for giving themselves to protect our freedom. The Grange wants to thank Elzey for his continued service.
