Chamber's Easter Egg hunt set for March 27 in Georgetown

The 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt, organized by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce is set for Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Nutter Marvel Carriage Museum in Georgetown. At least 5,000 eggs filled with special toys and treats will be hidden on the Museum grounds. The egg hunt kicks-off at noon for kids in various age categories up to 12 years. The Marvel Museum is located on 510 S. Bedford St.

In addition to the egg hunt, there will be a moon bounce, a magician, great food & refreshments, train rides on Georgetown’s ‘Lil Toot, facepainting, arts & crafts, and pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.

Contributors to this year’s event include Chardon Jewelry Ltd, Cornerstone Media Productions, Delaware Camping Center, Delaware State Police FCU, Delmarva Power, Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, Mercantile Processing, Inc., The Insurance Market, Lester Realty, NRG Energy, Sussex County Post, Tyndall’s Construction LLC and WalMart. Special recognition also goes to The Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown for all its help
