Funeral services for former Delaware Senate President Pro Tempore Thurman Adams Jr. will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the Woodbridge High School auditorium, 37 Laws St., Bridgeville.
Friends may call between 3 and 8 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Union United Methodist Church, 2 Laws St., Bridgeville.
He will be buried in Bridgeville Cemetery following the funeral. A reception will follow the burial at the Bridgeville Fire Hall.
Adams died June 23 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a week earlier. He was elected in 1972 and was the state’s longest serving legislator.
