Cassandra (Sandy) B. Quesada, of Georgetown, passed away on Friday Jan. 15, 2010 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes after a long illness she was 66.
Sandy a was born in Mt. Holly N. J. the daughter of the late Cas and Katherine (Clark) Banas. Sandy moved to Georgetown, from Coatesville Pa. in 1965. Sandy attended Goldey-Beacom College. She worked as a paralegal at the law office of Henry Clay Davis in Georgetown for 26 years retiring in 2005.
She was a past member of Sussex Pines Country Club, and enjoyed decorating and shopping. In addition to both parents she was preceded in death by 2 infant sons and a sister Joan Massa. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 17 years Stephen (Steve) L. Quesada, 2 children Sharon K. MeGee of Georgetown, Michael A. MeGee and his wife Katie of Georgetown and step children Kathy Lawrence and her husband Sinh of CA, Annmarie Johnson of Dover, Julie Holston of Georgetown, Nancy Willis and her husband Ronald of Federalsburg MD, 3 grandchildren Julie Batt, Joshua MeGee and Maxine MeGee.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market St., Georgetown. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
