25 Indian River School District students receive Ferguson Scholarships

The Indian River School District announced 25 students who were awarded the Ferguson Scholarship from the State of Delaware for their performance on the 2011 Delaware Comprehensive Assessment System.

The awards total $26,000 and were given to those students who scored well on the reading and math portions of the test. Each scholarship is worth $1,000 to be used for education after high school.
