Patients at the Delaware Hospice will receive a new love seats due to the efforts of the Rose Colored Lasses, a nonprofit community organization.
They recently donated $3,450 to the center. Clinical Supervisor of Inpatient Services Debbie Taylor said the donation will buy love seats for each of the patient rooms.
On Dec. 3 the Rose Colored Lasses had their annual Milford Christmas House Tour to raise money. The tour ended with wine and appetizers at the Delaware Hospice Center.
According to spokesperson Jenn Saienni, the hospice has been working with the Rose Colored Lasses since 2013.
“It has really brought in a new group of people to the center,” she said.
"By [The Rose Colored Lasses] having the house tour and including us on the tour people are able to come to the center and see how beautiful it is and take it back to their friends and family.”
The Rose Colored Lasses help organizations like the Delaware Hospice Center, American Cancer Society, Home of the Brave Women’s Facility and KenCrest Group Home.
