The Lewes Historical Society is offering programs for children in kindergarten through second grade while school is out April 14 at the Midway Schoolhouse No. 178 at the Lewes Historical Society’s Shipcarpenter Street Campus, 110 Shipcarpenter St.

Two sessions will be offered: a morning session from 10 to 11 a.m. and an afternoon session from 1 to 2 p.m. These programs are free for children and a suggested donation of $5 per adult.

The program is titled “Building our Community,” featuring the book “The Three Little Pigs” by Steven Guarnaccia.

After the story, children will have the chance to build their miniature models made of edible materials and explore the buildings within the society’s campus.
