The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society celebrates various forms of needle art with its annual needlework exhibit, on display through May 21 at the Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Ave.

A documentary titled “Through the Eye of the Needle: The Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitiz” will be screened at the museum at 1 p.m. April 14. The film tells the story of how Krinitiz and her sister survived Nazi-occupied Poland using their false Catholic identities. Before she died at age 74, Krinitiz created a 36-panel piece of needlework art.

The public can join for a presentation by needle arts instructor and certified judge Dolores Andrew for a presentation on designing patterns at 1 p.m. May 21.

Those interested in these museum programs can RSVP to 227-7310.
