Here are some fun First State events to dive into this weekend.

1. Taco Saturday

Imagine a hard shell with the ingredients of all the pop tunes you love to sing. The reality of that idea is party band Flowers For Taco.

The band was born in the fall of 2013 with a simple idea. Band founder and front man Rusty Snow wanted to focus more on the B-side/rarities of many popular and indie artists. The name originated from an episode of “The League” entitled “Flowers For Taco,” which Snow had randomly suggested.

Now in their fourth year, Flowers For Taco continues to delight ears with tasty jams.

The band will share the stage with fellow Pennsylvania outfit The Jump Off at 8 p.m., Saturday.
