Delaware Interfaith Power & Light and Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Lower Delaware, will host a community discussion on climate change from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 22 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.
Rick Grier-Reynolds, Osher Lifelong Learning Center instructor and education consultant for the International Baccalaureate program, will moderate a panel discussion from 7 to 8 p.m. offering various local observations and perspectives. Panelists include Susan Love, climate and sustainability section lead, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control; Diane Hanson, Dewey Beach commissioner; John Sertich, president, Clean Energy USA, Rehoboth Beach; Charles Smith, T. S. Smith & Sons Farms, Bridgeville; and Idola Batson, Mt. Calvary African Methodist Episcopal Church, Seaford.
A 30-minute Q&A period and table exhibits with resource materials will occur after the panel discussion.
