Sussex County Habitat for Humanity will host a free Neighborhood Dumpster Day from 9 a.m. to noon July 22 on Laurel’s Oak Street.

Made possible by the recently awarded $70,000 Neighborhood Revitalization Grant from Lowe’s, this will be the first event in a series of six monthly projects in Laurel, as a way to encourage community investment while expanding upon SCHFH’s typical offered services. Residents of Laurel are encouraged to take advantage of the free dumpster access as a way to clean up their community. Volunteers will be around the adjacent streets ready to assist with trash and heavy items until noon or until the dumpsters are full.
