Roundtree has been turned over to Delaware State Police
Milford police on the way to a call about wanted fugitive Eddie D. Roundtree caught the man after he was involved in a fight with two unknown women.
Milford Police Department spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said the incident took place at about 2:53 p.m. July 17 on McColley Street.
Police spotted Roundtree, 49, of Lincoln, near the scene and took him into custody in the 100 block of Marshall Street after a brief foot chase.
Charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, Roundtree also is wanted by Kent County Superior Court, Sussex, County Superior Court, and Delaware State Police Troop 7.
Roundtree was ordered held on a $1,250 secured bond and was turned over to the Delaware State Police.
The investigation in continuing as investigators try to ascertain the identity of the two women involved in this case, Masten said.
