Two incidents in Lewes involving Jeremy M. Bowen.
Jeremy M. Bowen turned himself in after the Lewes Police Department sought the public's assistance in locating him.
In May, two Lewes residents entered into contracts with Bowen, 38, of Greensboro, Md. They each gave him a down payment of $2,500 with the expectation he would build them a deck or patio. Bowen never returned to or completed work at either residence. Lewes police investigated and obtained warrants for two counts of felony home improvement fraud, but were unable to locate him. Bowen was wanted by the Delaware State Police for similar offenses.
Sept. 27, shortly after the police notified the public that they were seeking Bowen, he turned himself in. Information on charges and bond is not yet available.
