The Frankford Public Library will team up with Beebe Healthcare to present the annual Beebe Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Frankford Fire Hall, 7 Main St.

The fair will provide the community with an opportunity to have health screenings, get flu shots and connect with health care providers and library staff.

Participation in the health fair is part of the mission of increasing the community’s health and wellness literacy.

Organizations will be on-site, including mental health vendors and the Delaware Health and Social Services Dental Van — offering opportunities for care and consultation in one convenient location.

The library will put together a story walk to promote active movement in a fun and interactive setting. The walk will begin at the library and will take the participant through a series of pages in a story as they journey to the public park in Frankford and back to the library, about 1 mile in total.

The Frankford Volunteer Fire Co., in conjunction with other volunteers, will provide breakfast and lunch.
