Similar to incidents that occurred in late December
Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the Walkers Mill Mobile Home Park in Bridgeville last evening. The crime contained numerous similarities to four incidents that occurred in Bridgeville and Seaford in late December 2017.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, at a residence located in the 11,000 block of 3rd Street. The victim, a 30-year-old Bridgeville female, and her three children had just pulled into their driveway when a vehicle pulled in behind them, blocking them in. Before the victims were able to exit the vehicle, two suspects armed with handguns approached each side of the vehicle at the front doors, opened the doors and began demanding money. The suspect at the driver's side door then began rifling through the 30-year-old victim's pockets while holding a handgun to her. The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash prior to both suspects fleeing the scene in the vehicle they arrived in.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20's, tall with an average build and darker complexion. He had curly hair and hair on his chin that was approximately one inch in length. He was wearing mechanic-style coveralls and a jacket with a hood that was pulled up over his head.
The second suspect was also described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20's and tall with a slightly heavy build. He was also wearing a jacket with the hood pulled up over his head.
The suspect vehicle was described as a four-door, dark in color passenger vehicle.
The victim and her three children were not harmed as a result of this incident.
