One injured on Norwood Street last night.
A shooting occurred late Monday evening in Rehoboth Beach.
The preliminary state police investigation has determined that the incident occurred on Monday, Feb. 12, at around 11 p.m., when troopers were dispatched to the 19000 block of Norwood Street for a reported shooting. It was determined that a 56-year-old Rehoboth man had been shot while he was inside of his residence. The shots had been fired at the residence from outside and a few bullets had traveled through the house, striking the victim twice in the upper torso and in an upper extremity. Two other adults and a child that were also in the residence at the time were not injured.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was admitted with non-life threatening injuries. No suspect information could be provided.
