Second Sussex location for restaurant

A new restaurant has opened in the ever-growing Long Neck area.

Owner Josh Fallon opened the first Yellowfins Bar and Grill in Selbyville four years ago and opened the Long Neck eatery earlier this month.

The 34-year-old grew up just over the state line in Bishopville, Md. He has a bachelor of arts in biology and was studying to become a teacher, but opted to open Yellowfins instead.

“I’ve always worked in bars and restaurants,” he said. “I had the opportunity to buy the place in Selbyville so that’s what I did.”

He describes Yellowfins as a casual and laid-back bar and grill. “Nothing fancy,” he said, “but our food is fresh and good.”

The vast menu consists of a multitude of appetizers, soups and salads, tacos, sandwiches and land and sea entrees. Prices are mostly in the $10-$20 range.

Yellowfins opens at 11 a.m. daily and serves happy hour specials from 3 to 7 p.m. The restaurant seats at least 100 indoors, and by Memorial Day, an outdoor deck will seat another 100.
