Both homes in Concord Pond area
Delaware State Police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 19, at around 8:30 p.m., when troopers were dispatched to the 11000 block of Henry Drive for a report of shots being fired. A 27-year-old female resident advised she had heard several gunshots right outside her residence and three bullet holes that had entered the residence from the exterior were discovered. The bullets traveled through one bedroom wall and continued through a second bedroom wall. A vehicle that was parked on the property also sustained damage to its rear passenger side window.
Also present at the residence during this incident were two other adults and with two small children. No one was injured.
The incident is very similar to one that occurred the night before, on Wednesday, April 18, around 11:30 p.m. in the 24000 block of Clench Jean Lane. Henry Drive and Clench Jean Lane are less than a mile apart in the Concord Pond area of Seaford. In the Henry Lane incident, a single bullet penetrated the wall of a home where two females, ages 67 and 20, were residing. Neither was injured.
