Police say Ronald W. Morgan was driving a tractor-trailer without its headlights.
Milford police arrested a Lincoln man on drug charges after stopping him for an impaired driving investigation.
Department spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said about 1:38 a.m. Sunday, June 24 on South Rehoboth Boulevard, an officer spotted a tractor-trailer being driven with its headlights turned off.
The driver, identified as Ronald W. Morgan, 50 was taken into custody following a series of field sobriety tests, Masten said.
A search turned up a supply of cash, drug paraphernalia, heroin and crack cocaine. Police also learned Morgan is wanted out of the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
Morgan is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, the operation of a commercial motor vehicle with a BAC of .04 or above or while impaired by drugs, failure to have insurance identification in possession, fictitious or canceled registration, and failure to have lights on when required.
Bail was set at $1,203 cash, Masten said.
