The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand will continue Cinema by the Surf, a series of free family movies, at 8 p.m. July 19 with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
In Disney’s beguiling animated romp, Ariel is fascinated with life on land. On one of her visits to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince. Determined, Ariel makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for three days. But when plans go awry, the king must make a sacrifice for his daughter.
“We are proud to partner with WSFS Bank in providing these films for families to enjoy free of charge. Providing a unique opportunity to enjoy these films outside, steps from the beach and under the stars, is something that locals and visitors will hopefully build lasting memories of Rehoboth Beach for years to come,” said Bandstand Program Director Corey Groll.
Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
