Troopers with the Delaware State Police have arrested a Sussex County man on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Division spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the incident occurred at about 7:46 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 after a trooper spotted a black Chevrolet pickup truck traveling westbound on Concord Road.
The trooper stopped the vehicle after it turned onto Sussex Highway, south of Milford, without using its turn signal.
Troopers learned the driver, 43-year-old Todd A. Hathaway of Laurel, was operating on a suspended license.
A search of the truck turned up about 15.06 grams of methamphetamine, more than $1,200 in suspected drug cash as well as drug paraphernalia.
Hathaway is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended or revoked and failure to signal a lane change.
He later was released on a $52,025 unsecured bond.
