Some property not identified

Delaware State Police, with the assistance of the Millsboro Police Department, have arrested a suspect in connection with multiple thefts from vehicles in the Millsboro area.

On Thursday, November 29, the MPD conducted a pedestrian stop on a man who matched the description of a suspect involved in thefts from motor vehicles. They found 36-year-old Noah Whaley, of Dagsboro, to be in possession of property that had been reported stolen throughout the Troop 4 territory, including: a Nikon camera bag containing a Nikon camera and accessories, a prescription pill bottle containing oxycodone, a BJ’s membership card, an insurance card, a GAP credit card and various gift cards.

Whaley was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession of a controlled substance by theft, felony theft, four counts of theft and five counts of criminal trespassing. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $3,005 secured bond.

The case remains under investigation. The owners of some recovered property have not yet been identified.
