In celebration of African American History Month, Delaware Technical & Community College will honor Stacey J. Mobley, formerly senior vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel for DuPont for his service to the Delaware community. Past honorees have included the late civil rights activist Littleton Mitchell and Brigadier General Ernest George Talbert, vice commander of the Delaware Air National Guard.
This year's event will feature words of tribute from members of the College and community as well as remarks from the honoree. Special guests will include Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn, Wilmington Mayor James Baker, Wilmington City Council Chair Norman D. Griffiths, Esquire, and Hinton Lucas, vice president and assistant general counsel for DuPont. The event is free and open to the public.
