Business Professionals of America students at Sussex Technical High School recently attended the State Leadership Conference.
Four students qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif. Tech officials congratulated Josh Ritter, second in Digital Media, and Drew Crouse, fifth in PC Service and Repair. Megan Cannon and Ryan Fitzgerald qualified for the national conference through their work with Torch Awards by receiving the National Ambassador Award.
Honorable Mentions were received by Ben Price in Accounting and Cartina Church in Desktop Publishing who both placed seventh in their respective events. The Sussex Tech BPA chapter also received Special Recognition for Safety Awareness, Special Olympics and National Capital Improvements.
