Sussex Technical High School crowned Julie Batt of Georgetown and Julius Young of Ellendale as their 2010 Prom Queen and King.
The selection was based on voting by the seniors. The annual event was held Saturday, May 15 at the Delaware State Fair Exhibit Hall. Titled, “A Night in the Spotlight,” the formal affair featured a sit-down dinner and dance.
Afterwards, many students finished the evening with midnight bowling at Bryan’s Bowling Center in Laurel. Julie is a health professions major and Julius is specializing in criminal justice. Both will graduate on June 3.
