Georgetown's historic first firehouse receives restoration funding

The historic first firehouse in Georgetown received USDA funding to restore the exterior. It should be completed by Return Day. Sussex County Councilman Sam Wilson, Georgetown Mayor Brian Pettyjohn and Georgetown volunteer firefighters joined USDA Director Jack Tarburton and U.S. Sen. Tom Carper to present the check to Carlton Moore, president of the Georgetown Historical Society.
