Milton man arrested for involvement in Georgetown-area home invasion

Delaware State Police have arrested Richard Cohen, 21 of Milton, in connection with a home invasion that took place Thursday, August 27, on Sand Hill Road north of Georgetown.

Georgetown man dies in Bridgeville-area car crash

Delaware State Police have reported the death of a 58-year-old Georgetown man, the result of a two-vehicle crash east of Bridgeville at the intersection of Redden and Chaplin’s Chapel Roads. The crash also sent five to different hospitals, including an 8-month-old girl and 4-year-old boy.

UPDATE: Police APPREHEND Woodrow W. Dickerson of Milton

Delaware State Police apprehended Woodrow W. Dickerson III on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Dickerson was labeled a suspect in several crimes at Broadkill Beach over the course of a day this past weekend. Dickerson is charged with possession of a deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated menacing, two counts of unlawful sexual contact, two counts of sexual harassment and criminal mischief. He is also now charged with resisting arrest.

Delaware State Police obtained arrest warrants for Vanvorst for the charges of obtaining a controlled substance by theft.

Bridgeville trio arrested in scrap metal thefts

Delaware State Police, on August 4 and 5, arrested three people allegedly responsible for scrap metal thefts in Millsboro, Frankford and Delmar. Those thefts took place on June 25, beginning around 9:15 a.m.

UPDATED: Police on scene of serious ATV crash near Bridgeville

New information is coming in...... Police Release: Preliminary information is still coming in, however, it appears a 15-year-old female and a 10-year-old male were riding on an all terrain vehicle.  The all terrain vehicle crashed with a motor vehicle.  The 15-year-old female is the operator of the ATV and was taken to Nanticoke Hospital Seaford in critical condition.  The 10-year-old male was taken to AI DuPont Children’s hospital also listed in critical condition.

Delaware State Police and the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force arrested five people - including two from Millsboro - on Friday, July 30, as part of an ongoing investigation into drug sales in Lewes.

Police searching for Lewes burglary suspect

Delaware State Police on Sunday July 25, investigated a domestic burglary on the 2100 block of Savannah Road, Lewes.  The incident is believed to have occurred around 4:19 a.m.

State Troopers upon interviewing the victim were advised that the suspect Lemston Reed, 33 of Lewes called the victim asking her whereabouts. The victim told Reed a location other then her residence not wanting him to know her whereabouts or respond to her house. Reed also during the phone conversation allegedly threatened to kill the victim.
