State police said no explosives were found Tuesday afternoon, after bomb threats were called in to 911, alleging bombs at Sussex Tech, Laurel and Seaford high schools.

Millsboro man sentenced to death in 2007 fiancée killing

Attorney General Beau Biden announced today that Emmett Taylor, 3rd, age 47 of Millsboro was sentenced this morning by Sussex County Superior Court Judge E. Scott Bradley to death by lethal injection for the 2007 killing of his fiancée.

Bishopville man charged with 149 counts of Sussex check theft

On March 8, officers arrested Patrick Swiontek, 50, of Bishopville, Md., in connection with the theft of 149 checks, totaling a loss in excess of $20,000.
