The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces the closure of Truck Route 9/Park Avenue between South Bedford Street and Wood Branch Road in Georgetown for the replacement of crossroad pipes. The closure will occur at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 8. The road will reopen at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 12, pending weather.
Detour eastbound: Truck Route 9/Park Avenue to South Bedford Street onto the Circle, east on Route 9 and back to Truck Route 9/Park Avenue
Detour westbound: Truck Route 9/Park Avenue to west on Route 9 to the Circle, south Bedford Street and back to Truck Route 9/Park Avenue
