Early Wednesday morning, a trooper from Troop 7 conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Sweet Briar Road, Lewes.

Upon making contact with driver Pamela A. Reynolds, 57, of Rehoboth, the trooper believed that Reynolds had been drinking alcohol. A DUI investigation ensued, and at the conclusion of the investigation, she was taken into custody without incident.

A routine computer check revealed Reynolds had three previous DUI convictions, making the fourth charge a felony offense.

Reynolds was formally charged with fourth-offense DUI of alcohol and or drugs. She was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
