Delaware State Police, on July 26, arrested April S. Heiser, 36 of Lewes, at the Delaware State Fair's Lynyrd Skynyrd concert for charges related to fraud.
Heiser was detained at the gate after she presented tickets that had been flagged as purchased with a fraudulent credit card.
The suspect allegedly opened a credit card using the victim's (whose name was not released by police) information between June 9 and June 20 and had it mailed to her residence in Lewes.
Upon obtaining the credit card, Heiser allegedly began a spending spree that included $2,328 worth of charges at restaurants and apparel businesses.
State Police developed Heiser as a suspect with the help of the credit card issuer's fraud investigator and Wal-Mart's loss prevention manager.
She was charged with identity theft, theft of $1,500 or greater and unlawful use of a credit card and later released on $9,000 unsecured bond.
