The Family Support Center is offering an “Expressive Art – Grief Workshop for Children” on Friday, March 20, from 10-11:30 a.m., in the Delaware Hospice Center’s Community Conference Room, 100 Patriot’s Way, Milford.

Children often find it easier to express their feelings of grief through artwork rather than by talking.  Each child will complete an art project while learning about what is normal when grieving or missing a loved one.

Co-facilitators are Lorraine Hudson, local, nationally-acclaimed Artist, and Lezley Sexton, LPCMH, NCC, Child Grief Counselor.

Admission is free and open to the public.  Pre-registration is required due to limited seating by calling Vicki Costa, Associate Director of the Family Support Center, 302-856-7717, ext. 1129, or writing to  vcosta@delawarehospice.org.
