Delaware State Police are still investigating a child abduction, which activated an Amber Alert on Saturday afternoon.

The Amber Alert has been taken down due to the fact that the suspect's mode of transportation is now unknown.  At approximately 2:30 p.m. on June 27, the Buick that 30-year-old Angel Duprey had been driving was discovered on northbound Route 1 near Odessa, with a flat tire.  Neither the suspect nor victim were located.

At approximately 4 p.m., police said an unidentified caller contacted 911 to report that he had second hand information that a female acquaintance had given the suspect and the victim a ride from Route 1 to Peoples Plaza, after seeing them broken down.  After seeing the Amber Alert information, the caller contacted 911 believing she had possibly given the suspect a ride.  Troopers are attempting to locate the Good Samaritan for any additional information.

Troopers canvassed the Peoples Plaza Shopping Center in Glasgow but have not discovered the suspect or victim as of the time of this release.

Earlier in the day just before 12:30 p.m., police say Duprey - who has an active protection-from-abuse order, issued on June 19, 2009, from Pennsylvannia which prohibits him from contact with his girlfriend or their three children - entered the boy's mother's home, on Collet Lane in Lincoln, and took the boy from the house.

Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is asked to contact investigators at Troop 4 at 302-856-5850, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
