Sussex Tech girls lacrosse snapped a two-game skid on Wednesday with a 13-8 victory at St. Thomas More.

Sophomore Kellen Cannon paced the Lady Ravens with five scores and an assist, while senior Maxine Fluharty chipped in with three scores and set up another.

Tech, which had not played in two weeks, raced out to a 9-2 lead at the break, only to see the St. Thomas More get to within four of the lead before the Ravens (4-2 overall) pulled away.

More on the game will be in our May 4 edition of the Sussex Countian. Also, be sure to see our online photo gallery of the contest.
