The Knights plated seven runs in the top half of the third frame, Tuesday, against Blue Raiders ace C.J. Pleasants, which led to an eventual 11-2 victory.
Senior catcher Chris Conaway had a pair of RBI doubles to lead Central, while junior Trey Mears extended his hitting streak to 11 games in the win.
Sophomore Tyler Aiken allowed just two runs in six innings of work to pick up the win from the hill.
Central (7-6 overall, 6-4 Henlopen) and its coaching staff figure the Knights need to win three of their four remaining contests to reach the payoffs for the sixth consecutive season. The Knights play again Thursday at Caravel and welcome Seaford to their yard Friday. Both contests are slated for 4:15 p.m. starts.
