Officials with Delaware's Division of Public Health announced Tuesday that a 47-year-old Kent County man became Delaware's seventh H1N1-related death March 7. He was hospitalized Feb. 8 and tested positive for H1N1 on Feb. 19. The man had several underlying health conditions.

"People with chronic underlying health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and those who are immunosuppressed are at higher risk of complications from the H1N1 flu," said Dr. Karyl Rattay, DPH director. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the man's family and friends."
