Carlton M. Jarmon, age 78, of Selbyville, Delaware, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2010 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
Carlton had been a life long truck driver with many friends in the industry. He always had a great sense of humor. Carlton always kept an immaculate car. He was born in Williamsville, Delaware to the late Fred and Ida Whaley Jarmon.
His wife of 59 years, Lillian Allen Jarmon of Selbyville, Delaware, Son Steve Edward Jarmon and wife Rosalyn of Salisbury, Maryland, Daughters, Jeanette McMillon and husband Robert of Frankford, Delaware, Michelle Harvey; and husband Kenny of Tallahassee, Florida, and Brenda Lee Jarmon of Tallahassee, Florida survive him. He is also survived by a brother Pearlis Jarmon of Millsboro, Delaware, sister Charlotte Mitchell of Wilmington, Delaware, and 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A sister Reba Massey, 3 brothers, Floyd, Gardner, and Lester predeceases him.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call 1 hour prior. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Berlin, Md. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
