Ask and it will be given.

In the wake of the Haiti earthquake, members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington  were asked to pray for those affected by the disaster, to contribute financially, and to make either hygiene or baby kits for Gifts of the Heart. Members and their friends donated $19,000 for Haiti Relief.

This money is being sent directly to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, already engaged in the recovery effort in Haiti. This past Tuesday, Feb. 2, Mary Field, Sue Weissinger, Fred Carspecken and Rev. Anne Ledbetter delivered 710 hygiene kits and 67 baby care kits to the Church World Service storage facility in Maryland.

These kits help recovery efforts around the world, and are presently being sent to Haiti. The church expects more gift kits to be packaged and delivered in the next week.
