As the state of Delaware’s budget crisis continues, the state government has turned a critical eye on the largest item in the state budget – education. State Auditor General Tom Wagner has released a report calling for the consolidation of Delaware’s 19 school districts into as few as three — one for each county — in order to reduce the price of administration.
