JOAN A. (LANG) BATCHELOR
Joan A. (Lang) Batchelor, 70, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 3, 2009.
She was born September 27, 1938 in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late George and Catherine (Rumpf) Lang.
Batchelor worked for A&P Food Stores in the Baltimore area for 43 years retiring from the Accounting Department in 2003. She relocated to Georgetown six years ago with her husband and worked for Super Fresh for five years until her health dictated her resignation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Batchelor, Sr.; two sons, Ralph E. Batchelor, Jr. of Bethel, and James E. Batchelor of Lanexa, Va.; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter; and a brother, Robert Scheufele of Baltimore, Md.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday June 13, 4 p.m. at the Community Lutheran Church, Omar Road, Frankford.
Burial will be private.

ROBIN OWENS KIGHT
Robin Owens Kight, 48, of Ellendale, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009, at her residence in Wilmington.
She was born in Milford, the daughter of the late, Morris B. Owens, Jr. and Mildred R. (Courtland) Owens.
She was an Investment Accounting Manager with PFPC in Wilmington.
Kight was a member of the West Chester Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Grace Kay Owens and Joann Brittingham.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas A. Kight; her brothers, James H. Owens and his wife, Joann, of Farmington; and George R. Owens and his wife, Susan, of Ellendale; her three sisters, Ida I.O. Smith and her husband, Richard, of Lincoln; Sally Hurd, of Williamsville; and Rhonda L. Owens-Whitehouse and her husband, Ron, of Ellendale; her nieces and nephews, Kathi McCoy and her husband, Ron; J.C. Owens and his wife, Donna; Charles Owens; Kimberly Owens; Keri Owens; and Katie Joseph and her husband, Eric; her great-niece and nephews, Faith Ann McCoy; Alex McCoy; Ryan McCoy; and Luke Owens; her step-niece, Rosalie Whitehouse.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 2:30 p.m. at the McCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202, S. of Silverside Rd.) Wilmington, DE 19803.
