Obit: Lora Baker Ware

Lora Baker Ware, of Lancaster, Pa., died on Monday evening, May 10, 2010 after an illness.

She was the daughter of J. Raymond and Blanch Baker of Millsboro.

She is survived by her daughters, Julia Ware of Narberth, Pa. and Layla Ware Luria of Wynnewood, Pa.; also surviving her are son-in-law, Marcos de Luria and grandsons Mateo and Nicholas.

Ware was a school psychologist for 20 years in South Central Pa. Lora was known for her reserved demeanor and her compassion when working with families and co-workers.

She was often most at home when hiking the woods of Pa. and canoeing local streams. In her youth she would be frequently found sailing on Rehoboth Bay.
