Barbara Gabrys Davis, a resident of Georgetown since 1997, formerly of California, died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was 76.
Barbara was born in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha M. Norwash.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her pets, shopping and reading.
She was a member of the A.A.R.P. and the Georgetown Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Theodore W. Davis, Jr, two children, Maureen LaRoche and her husband Jack of Florida and Kent Gabrys and his wife Mary Kula of Wilmington; 1 sister, Judy Jackson and her husband Alfred of Long Island, NY.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
