ADAM C. PAUGH, JR.
Adam C. Paugh, Jr., 89, of Georgetown died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at home.

He was born in Thomas, West Virginia, the son of the late Adam C. Paugh, Sr. and Jessie (Hines) Paugh. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp, serving his country during World War II. He was a truck driver for Mountaire Poultry for 35 years retiring in 1963. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro and the Marine Corp League in Seaford. He was a family man and enjoyed hunting, NASCAR Racing, West Virginia football and traveling.            

In addition to his parents, his son, Racey O. Paugh, five sisters, Sadie Pase, Hazel Stapleton, Rosella Dyer, Wanda Clotz and Clarabelle Steelman and a brother, Carl Paugh, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Marian E. Jester Paugh, two sons, L. Richard Paugh, Sr. and his wife Ruth of Georgetown and Ralph L. Paugh and his wife Susie of Parkersburg, WV; five grandchildren, L. Richard Paugh, Jr., Randy Paugh, Carrie Davidson, Amy Shaw and Michael Paugh; eight great grandchildren, Nicole Paugh, Nathan Paugh, Ranae Paugh, Travis Paugh, Dylan Davidson, Derrick Davidson, Keegan Shaw and Maya Shaw.

Funeral Services were held Monday, March 23, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.  

Interment in St. Johns Cemetery, Georgetown.

SANDRA LEE “SANDY” FLETCHER
Sandra Lee “Sandy” Fletcher, 68, lifelong resident of Georgetown, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.She was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late Thomas R. and Cora Bell (West) Littleton.

She was a homemaker. Fletcher loved people and never met a stranger.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom brought that extra sparkle to her eyes.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Fletcher, Sr., six children, Teresa Kelley of Laurel, Terrie Brown and husband Darryl of Cambridge, Md., Virginia Hartley and husband Kevin of Milford, Lisa Jester and husband Dennis of Seaford, Harry Fletcher Jr., and wife Michele of Georgetown, Helen Fletcher, also of Seaford and an adopted son, Aaron Fletcher, also of Georgetown; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Diane Messick of Dagsboro; and brother, Larry Rogers of Crisfield, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 24, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown. Burial in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Delaware Hospice for their excellent care, especially nurses Rita, Wendy and Kenna.
