Mozella Demaio, of Georgetown, died on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at home. She was 73.
She was born in Wise County, Va., the daughter of the late Carl and Opal Collins Perry. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and farm animals. She especially loved keeping her family straight and together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Diana Ray Jessee and Beverly Jean Jessee.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph A. Demaio, 4 children, Nancy C. Cornejo of Greenwood, Haskell R. Jessee of Pocomoke, MD, Rhonda M. Taylor of Leemont, VA and Lollita O. Shawver of Grassy Meadows, WV, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE, where friends may call after 11:00 am. Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton, DE. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
