STEPHEN E. CHRIST
Stephen E. Christ, 83, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Frank and Emily (DeCoursey) Keiser.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He was a territorial sales manager for Beckley-Cardy Co. for 18 years, retiring in 1997. He was a life member of Elkins Park Fire Co. in Montgomery County, PA, and a member of the Rancocas Country Club in Willingboro, NJ and Pike Creek County Club in Newark.
He loved taking care of his wife. He enjoyed collecting model fire trucks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Opitz Christ in November, 2008; a daughter, Marilyn Bergfelder; and a brother, Frank DeCoursey Christ.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice Sensi and her husband, Louis of Georgetown, one cousin, Stephen DeCoursey and his wife Mindy of Harleysville, PA and their two daughters, Nancy DeCoursey of East Greenville, PA and Nichole Kidd and her husband Joe of Harleysville, PA.
Services were private.
