UPDATED OBIT: Patricia A. Roberts of Georgetown

Patricia A. Roberts, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at Beebe Medical Center.  She was 60.

Patricia was born in Galveston, TX, daughter of the late Jack and Norma (Chancey) Tasker.

Patricia started working with Wal-Mart in 1996 as a cashier.  She worked her way up in the organization to CSM, Department Manager and at the time of her death was a Zone Supervisor.  Her Wal-Mart family will truly miss her.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Georgetown.  Always helping other, she enjoyed participating in March of Dimes and De Hospice Walks, was a mentor for group students in Seaford, was a Life Saver blood donor with the Delaware Blood Bank and gave the ultimate gift of organ donation.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Elizabeth Guess and stepdaughter: Sharon Weller.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years: Talbert B. “Tab” Roberts, Sr.; 3 children: Ronni Colbert and Richard, Cliff Hecker and Lynette and Angie Hecker and Bruce Hykes; son-in-law: Milo Weller; step-daughter: Linda Papp and George; step-son: “Butch” Roberts, Jr., and friend Sharon;

2 sisters: Margaret Williams and Janice Myers; brother: Robert “Butch” Clemens, Jr.,; brother-in-law: Steve Guess; Grandchildren: Dustin Lawson (Amy), Robert Lawson, Michael Hamilton,

Kindra Hecker, Thomas Hykes, Marty Weller (Sharon), Chris Weller; Talbert “Ben” Roberts, III (Traci), Bo Marvel, Richard Colbert, III (Leama) and Brandon Colbert; Great Grandchildren: Dustin Lawson, Jr., Aaliyah Colbert, Ashley Hearn, Katlyn, Zackary and Bryce Weller, Mia Foebe, Madox and Lane Roberts and Libagail Marvel; Great Great Grandson: Bradey Hearn and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service was held Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown where friends called from 11:00am to 1pm.  Burial was in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
