Television commercials often get under my skin for one reason or another, but the one that has rankled me most in recent years is “The Most Interesting Man in the World.” To my mind, the guy who does the pitch for Dos Equis beer is the Most Irritating Man in the World. If you don’t count some of our contemporary political figures, that is.
