From all of us at the Sussex Countian, here's wishing everyone the happiest of holidays. Stay safe, stay warm and hope for some snow! (But who are we kidding? It'll just be gone by 11 a.m. the next day, anyway...)
As many readers may have noticed, we've gone through some significant changes here at the Countian over the past few months, launching a complete redesign of the newspaper in an effort to continue bringing you a wide variety of community news.
This fall, reporter Heather Clark, who joined the Countian in 2006, headed north to further her education at Drexel University. It is a great opportunity for her, but it means our newsroom has gotten a little smaller.
In the coming weeks and months, we will continue bringing you breaking news each and every day here on the Countian website and covering the central Sussex community through the newspaper, but we can only do that with help from our loyal readers. Reader submissions and photos help us keep our finger on the pulse on the community, and news tips are a reporter's best friend!
So drop us an e-mail or give a call (302-856-0026) and let us know what's going on in your neck of the woods.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays,
The Countian Staff
