Actions speak louder than words.  I guess a green building is more important than the animals.

It is now July 2010 and again there is no progress with the building for Safe Haven.  A couple of months ago, Anne Gryczon, executive director of Safe Haven, stated that the building would start in early spring 2010 or before the end of June.

I was recently out at the Safe Haven location and there is nothing but grass and dirt.  Not even a shovel was present.

This is getting to be the same story over and over again.  Safe Haven claims that they will be starting soon and be finished in 10 months.  What about the animals?

Recently I was told from someone that Anne Gryczon said they could no longer help with cat food due to the negative publicity.  Our group has since stepped up to the plate and helped with 12 large bags of cat food.  We are running out of funds but continue to alter cats and foster kittens and cats as well as help people that are in need.

Again, I ask, what are they doing with their money.  Our group and many other small groups use every dollar that is given to help in any way that we can.

Please make Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary step up to the plate and answer the questions that they still have not replied to.  For instance, why did Safe Haven give Anne Gryczon a $20,000 loan out of donations from the people of Delaware.  What are they doing to help the animals in Delaware or Sussex County?   What exactly does Anne Gryczon do to get paid $38,000 a year (from donations given by the public).  They keep saying that they need to get the permits put through.  How long does it take and what is Anne Gryczon doing about it?  Shouldn't she be on top of this situation if she is getting paid a salary?

Feral Friends of Millsboro, Inc. is in desperate need of donations so that we can continue our work and make a difference.  We have altered almost 200 cats since January 2010 and fostered over 60 cats and kittens.  Donations can be sent to: 24 E. Greenwing Drive, Milton, DE 19968.  All donations are tax deductible.  Visit our website at www.feralfriendsofmillsboro.org or call 302-329-9041.
